What the Monaco Robot Show is
According to its website, the Monaco Robot Show, shortened to MRS, is an event on robotics and physical AI that will take place in Monaco on 8 and 9 June 2027. Its theme is Living With Robots, and its opening line is that AI is becoming physical and robots are becoming part of our lives.
The site describes the show as more than an exhibition: it says it takes robotics beyond the exhibition floor and into real life. It offers tickets and sponsorship, and it is gathering speakers.
Physical AI, in plain terms
The event is built around the phrase physical AI. Its website describes it as embodied intelligence in motion: the kind of AI people know from a chat window, moved into a body that walks, balances, picks things up and works in a real room.
Humanoid robots are the most visible example, because they share our spaces and our height. That is also why they draw a crowd at any event. A person will walk past a screen showing a clever model, but will stop for a machine that turns its head and waves.
Six formats, from the stage to the yacht
The website lists six settings in which visitors are meant to experience robots:
- On stage: conversations and interaction
- On the field: human and robot sports
- In the factory: work and industry
- On the track: robotics and racing
- On the yacht: robotics and lifestyle
- In our lives: assistance and companionship
The yacht strand is the one closest to Monaco's own calendar, which already includes the Monaco Yacht Show in late September. The site does not yet say what the yacht programme will involve.
The robots it lists
Under the heading Robots on display, the site gives a first look at the humanoids and mobility platforms it describes as confirmed for 2027, and notes that final specifications will be confirmed by the exhibitors closer to the show. The list names:

What is not published yet
When we wrote this, the website did not name a venue in Monaco, did not name the organising company and listed its speakers as still to be announced, with an invitation to apply. Ticket prices were not shown on the pages we read. For any of these, go to the official site rather than to a summary like this one, because details for a new event change as it takes shape.
A robot show and robot hire are different things
A robot show brings many robots and many manufacturers to one place, so visitors can compare them, hear the people building them and see where the field is going. It is where you go to look.

The two can meet. A company that brings guests to Monaco for a robotics week might still want a robot of its own at a dinner, on a yacht or at a side event, working for its brand rather than for the show floor. That is a hire, and it is planned like any other event: the date, the venue, a flat and dry space of about three by three metres, and the lines the robot should say.
